and the environment, group-building
through games and projects, and
most of all FUN just being a kid! |
Here's How it Works...
Camp runs Monday through Friday,
9am-4pm. There will be 10 one-week
sessions. We engage in activities
that include daily swimming at our
on-site pool, group games, and small
group team building time. Hiking,
nature adventures, and of course
Arts 'n Crafts are also included all
under the supervision of our
great camp staff!

2010 Camp Tam Daily Schedule*

(8:00am - 9:00 Pre-Camp Session)
An optional extra hour of less-structured care for your camper - additional fee.
9:00 - 9:20 Shout-out and Stretch
Connect with your counselors & pals and warm up for the day!
9:30 - 10:00 Morning Huddle
We meet as a whole group and get acquainted, then we lay out the activities for the day. We may also get crazy and sing some silly songs!
10:00 - 11:00 Creation Station
Arts 'n Crafts can be anything from paper mache & painting to tie dye to harvesting in the camp garden!
11:00 - 12:00 Small Group Time
This includes activities like taking hikes, hands-on nature time, values-building activities, and much more!
12:00 - 1:00 Lunch**
This is a great time to get to know each other, tell stories
and learn values.
1:00 - 2:00 Pool Time
Supervised swim enhancement, games, and water fun!
2:00 - 3:30 Large Group Games
A large group game includes the entire camp and could range from Capture the Flag to Broom Ball!
3:30 - 4:00 It's A Wrap
Wind down and gather-up with a farewell until tomorrow.
(4:00 - 5:00pm Post-Camp Session)

Registration Information Weekly Sessions
Full-days: $240
Half-days: $140 (Half day sessions are all AM or all PM)
Deposit: $25.00 per session A non-refundable, non-transferable deposit of $25 for each session will hold your child's place at camp. It will be applied to the total cost of that session. If you are placed on the wait-list, your deposit is refundable until notification of an opening for that session of camp. Final invoices and a weekly schedule will be mailed two weeks prior to the start of each session, with balances due by 5pm o n e week prior to the first day of each session. Registration closes Thursday at 12:00 PM prior to each session. Pre/Post Camp
Pre-Camp runs from 8:00-9:00 AM and Post Camp runs from 4:00-5:00PM. You must register and pay for the Pre or Post camps that you need one week prior to the start of your camp session (minimum registration required). The cost is $25.00 per child per week for Pre-Camp or Post-Camp or $50.00 for both.

eneral Release: I hereby agree to indemnify and hold harmless Cam Tam, the Homestead Valley Community Association, representatives and volunteers from and against any and all liabilities for any injury which may be suffered by me or my child(ren) arising out of or in any way connected with participation in a Camp Tam pr ogram.
Medical Treatment Consent &am p; Sunscreen Permission: In case of a medical or surgical emergency, I hereby give permission to any medical personnel selected by the camp staff to secure treatment. I give permission to the camp staff to apply or provide sunscreen to my child(ren). Medical Insurance: I understand and agree that my child(ren)’s and/or my own h ealth/medical insurance is primary and agree to be responsible for medical expenses in excess of, or not included in, the camp’s policy. < /font><
/font>< /font>Travel Permission: I give permission for my child(ren) to leave campus on frequent walking trips locations within Homestea d Valley and Mill Valley. Authorization for use of photographs/videos: Use of any pictures or videos of me or my child(ren) may be used for camp training, advertising or promotion without any compensation to me or my child(ren). Risk of Injury: I acknowledge that some camp activities may contain risks that may result in injury to me/or my child(ren). Refund Policy: All session deposits are non-refundable Other eligible refunds will be issued until May 15, 2010. No refunds after May 15, 2010. Eligible refunds are subject to a 10% Processing Fee. Understand All Policies: I have asked any questions I have about the camp’s policies and operations. All q uestions about polic ies and/or operations
